Alpine concept inspiration

.
Is Renault coming up with a surprise for Alpine enthusiasts at this year's Paris Motor Show?
In an interview with Autocar, Renault’s style chief Laurens van den Acker advised that it “would be remiss to not do something” in reference to celebrating the Alpine A110’s fiftieth Anniversary.

By “something," van den Acker may be bearing on a contemporary interpretation of the Alpine A110 Berlinette, or at the terribly least an Apline flavoured concept, that might logically create its debut this year in Paris.
Whether the Alpine concept can create the transition to a production vehicle is unsure. “These things live by the grace of day,” was van den Acker’s response when the inevitable question was asked.
Renault’s promoting chief, Steve Norman, went on to mention, “We ought to ask: Is there area in today’s automotive market to make one thing that might be compared to a Porsche?'”

Reading between the lines, if and once we see it, we should always get pleasure from Renault’s modern-day salute to Alpine, however not get too excited by the prospect of it getting into production.
